In addition to being able to take call immediately or sending to voice mail...

You can transfer the call to another line or cell phone. Consider the following situations:

  • Although you only use the cell phone in case of emergency, you see your boss phoning so you decide to take the call on your cell.
  • Your spouse is expecting an important call but has gone out, so when you recongize the call you forward call to thier cell phone.
  • Normally you reserve the business line for business only, but you forward select calls through. This helps you keep business separate from private life.
  • Your mother is ill, so you tell your kids to forward calls they don't recognize to your mothers.
  • Your parents allow you to use the computer telephone line as your own, but frequently you miss calls, so you forward important calls to your parents line.
  • You are receiving unwanted calls, so you attempt to stop them by forwarding them to a friend who is a police officer.
